Brian Armstrong (55) affectionately known to his friends as Korky, he was the son of Eleanor Burrell and Denis Armstrong. Brian was born and grew up in Lurgan. During his life he moved to London where he lived for over 15 years while working in in the building trade. Over recent years he was a resident of Dollingstown where he lived with his mother.
Brian is survived by his three sons Brian, Aron and Thomas, and his grandson Tommy all of whom live in London. Brian will be greatly missed by his sons and his grandson. His Mother Eleanor and his five sisters, Denise, Michele, Samantha, Joanne and Lisa and his brothers in law and nieces and nephews.
Brian who was ill for some time was cremated on Thursday 15th June and as he was a lifelong avid supporter of Liverpool Football club. He had expressed his wish for his ashes to be spread close to Anfield Football stadium and in the Mersey. The song “You will never walk alone” was played at his committal.
His family would like to express their thanks to Dr Fitzpatrick, Trust Home Care Team, the Marie Curie Nurses and to Ronnie Russell for all the kindness and support shown over recent times. They would also like to thank everyone who called at the house, sent messages of sympathy and who attended the funeral.
